Yoek's owner Johanna brought some precious pieces back home, discover these treasures!

In December, Yoek's owner Johanna went to visit the northern part of India, she went from Delhi to Agra, where she visited and admired one of the seven world wonders; the Taj Mahal. This ivory-white marble mausoleum was once built in order of the Mughal emperor to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. But she also went to climb the mountains in the north and visited the amazing city of Jaipur, known as 'the pink city' and full of other vivid colours. Jaipur is just stunning, packed with the most beautiful forts and palaces, colourful yet chaotic streets, and located in the Golden Triangle of India. Here it was where she was triggered to create some beautiful things to take back to The Netherlands, a designer is always in search of new ideas and pretty things! On every adventurous, far-away journey she comes across amazing treasures, and likes to share them with her customers! These rings have been designed by Johanna herself and have especially been made for Yoek. She has selected the stones together with a jewellery designer. Finish all of your outfits now with a gorgeous piece of jewellery!

Every stone is unique and a product of nature, so every ring is a one of a kind. She has made a selection of four different stones, which have been used for rings in different sizes.

Since Johanna was curious where these precious stones came from, she learned much more about them! Below you can find more details about these gifts from earth.

MOONSTONE
This stone comes from the region of Jaipur itself. They say that the meaning behind the moonstone is associated with your feminine energy and the soothing energy of the moon. It appears that the moonstone brings calmness, peace, balance and has healing properties.

SMOKEY QUARTZ
When it comes to this stone people say that it "connects" to the earth, it is a grey/brown transparant stone which appears to have calming and healing effects. People say that if you hold it in your hand, the calmness will "shift" through your body.

LABRADITE
Found on the island of Labrador near Canada, this stone appears to have the power to awaken you to your deep inner consciousness and to acknowledge your everyday creativity flow. Go out of your comfort zone and keep it "weird" they say.

THE BLACK STAR OF INDIA
This stone is believed to heal the heart, lungs, and the circulatory system. It is also believed to aid with psychological disorders and weaknesses. Because of this, it sometimes has been referenced to as "the crying stone".
