When it is still winter, Yoek is always extra excited and happy to introduce the summer collection which takes us and our wardrobes to warmer places! And the new plus size clothing range for Spring/Summer not only has something for everyone, it has more than just one thing for everyone. A great variety of floral designs – from pastel flowers against black to a colourful bouquet against off-white, in addition to graphic monochrome flowers and a white-purple tulip on linen.
Even though we love to see a sea of florals in our closet, we like to add some other, trendy designs like the new kind of leopard design; a black-white pattern of mini-leopards. And Yoek makes it easy to take a vibe of the deep ocean with you, by wearing the tropical fish printed pieces in orange.
Perfect for both work and casual days, is the preppy college look, which is sporty yet classic. The college striped pieces can either be worn together for two-piece-suiting, or with uni-red and navy blue. Master the real fashion game in the vivid card design, with dots, cards and sunshines. You cannot change your cards in life, but you can choose to wear beautiful clothes!
No matter which special occasion pops up in your diary, your festive outfit will be ready in this new Black Label collection by Yoek which is all about dots and florals. The dots are printed both on the stretchy dolce material and delicate sheer chiffon, inspired by the roaring twenties, easily capturing classic elegance. Accompanying pieces in dark blue are richly embellished with pearls and sparkling beads for a luxurious appeal. Two-piece sets or co-ords as we like to call them, are in this collection also worn separately and the dots and florals are also being mix-matched. The sophisticated Black Label range for summer is finished with a colourful flower design, for a romantic character and feminine appeal.
The younger plus size label at Yoek, Miss Y, consists of two floral patterns for the sunshine season. First, a pastel floral pattern against a black background, with sporty striped trims. Next to this cool design on a smooth silky fabric, there is another floral pattern with a sweet vibe in bright colours against light pink, printed on featherlight voile. One of our faves is a crisp white blouse with star-embroidery, in addition to the various sweaters with sparkling sequins for chill Sundays.
The story of PORTRAITS has only just started last year. This second collection, and first summer collection of the minimalistic plus size label has a sense of aesthetic simplicity to it. Summer asks for the use of lightweight fabrics like cotton, cupro and linen, in sleek silhouettes. A choice has been made for a colour palette of muted tones; from pure white to dark blue and brique. The dessins are clean and simple; monochrome painted forms, maxi-dots and a graphic tiger.
